[Glee AU RP | Open since February and still going strong!]

The New Directions once ruled a simple choir room in Lima, Ohio. Now, seven years later, they've set their sights on someplace a bit more accommodating: New York City. Have they found fame? Or, perhaps, they've traded it in for a simpler life? Did those dreams they spoke of years ago finally come true? Or, have they fallen off the right path?

Their stories still wait to be told. Yet, one thing is for certain, they all begin here.

Detailed Bio of the Character: 

Aurora never really had any ‘friends’. Love and caring wasn’t really her thing, but she did have her reasons. Growing up in a poor family in Tennessee was never easy. And it didn’t exactly make it easier that their father left her, her sister and their mom all alone. Their mother had to get an extra job just so that they could have food on their table. Since Aurora was only eight, she believed her mother when she said that their father didn’t love them anymore. But what else was she supposed to believe? She was only a kid. Aurora didn’t understand the seriousness in it all until she was twelve, when their mother left them as well, and they had to move in with their Aunt.

At this point, Aurora was tired of everything. Even though she loved her Aunt, she was tired of the way she was treating them. Sure, their Aunt gave them money and a roof over their head, but Aurora still had to be the adult one. Shewas the one who had to get up in the middle of the night to sooth her crying sister, she was the one who had to cook food, she was the one who had to clean up in the house and wash everybody’s laundry. And on top of that, she got the most horrible grades, and she had bullies who was nagging on her everyday. She never got to be herself.

When her sixteenth birthday came up, she decided to start being herself. Which involved very dark make-up and coming out about her being bi-sexual. She thought that her Aunt wouldn’t care, but she did. She actually thought that there was something wrong with Aurora so she made a doctors appoint for Aurora. Of course, her Aunt was right, and it turned out that Aurora suffered from ADD and depression. The doctors said that it explained her behavior perfectly, and that it was why she was acting like this. A few months later, their Aunt got diagnosed with cancer, and died almost immediately. Since she didn’t have a husband, they had to move once again to their Grandparents, whom lived in New York.

After that, she and her sister got home schooled from their Grandpa, so they never really went out of the house. Which caused them not to meet any friends, except the old people who came to their house to play Yatzy. Still, Aurora was stuck with it until her twentieth birthday, and she had enough money, and a solid job, to move out.
